What we collect
When you contact us by phone, email, social media or the enquiry form, we collect what you choose to share:
- your name and contact details (email address and phone number)
- the address or area of the property or premises to be cleaned
- your business name, if the enquiry is for a business
- details of the cleaning you need and anything else you tell us
If you become a customer, we also keep records of the work we do for you, access arrangements you give us, and invoices and payments.
Please don't send us sensitive information, such as health details, unless it is needed for the job.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote. This is a step you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
- To arrange and carry out cleaning, and to invoice you. This is needed to perform our contract with you, or with the business you work for.
- To keep business and tax records. We have a legal obligation to keep accounting records.
- To deal with questions or complaints about our work. This is in our legitimate interests in running the business properly.
We don't sell your information, use it for marketing lists or make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with services we use to run the business:
- Google, which provides our email (Gmail)
- Cloudflare Email Routing, which delivers website enquiries to our Gmail inbox
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website
- an accountant or HMRC, where needed for tax
We will also share information if the law requires it. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK–US data bridge or approved contract clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to any work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Customer and invoice records: six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as required for tax purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you. Our hosting provider processes technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
